I am moving into a new house which has built-in bookcases/shelves and unfortunately my CS350 is too wide to fit on the shelf.

I have RT800i as fronts and would like to match these as closely as possible.

If you have something I might be interested in please post it or send me a PM.

Shelf dimensions...

23"W,22.5"H,18"D

Also, I may be willing to sell/trade my CS350LS if I find another center.

EDIT - I am buying a Samsung 61" DLP which fits in the cubbyhole above the fireplace. Unfortunately, there is no room for a center channel (ANY center channel) to fit either in front of or on top of the TV. So I unfortunately have no choice but to use those damn shelves to the left of the TV (A/V equipment is going on the right).

What is your asking price for the Csi40s?

I am no longer in the market. Bought a mint CS400 on eBay for $175.

    Thanks.

Congrats, that is a nice speaker. I think the CS400i is a bit bigger than the CSi40 isn't it?

How do you think a center will sound on that top left shelf? I'm a bit concerned but its my only option.

If i had to guess it would sound good to anyone sitting to the left of the TV.:D

You might find you need to put a second center channel on the right side of the TV to match.

    What he said:)
If your amp is capable of driving 4 ohms just wire 2 centers parallel.
    Enjoy

I wonder if you can find another one for the right side shelf and use a splitter or something to run 2 centers. Might do well for the right-side sitters. If you are using separate amplification, it should be easy to set up and power. If you are using an AVR, probably not worth doing.

Just trying to help you achieve synergy through symmetry.

Yes, but you would run them parallel. center channel left to both lefts and center channel right to both rights. 8 ohm speaker will now run at 4 ohms. But amp needs to be able to run @ 4 ohm.

    Welcome to the Forum adamlye.
Whereabouts in KY are you located?
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

    I'm in central KY.

I have a Denon 3806. No separates. I think I'll just use the 1 center for now and see how that works.

I'm buying a Samsung 61" DLP later this week. Should be a nice set-up.
