The thing is HUGE!!! Blowing me away.

It has four settings on the back, 25Hz, 20Hz 16Hz and bypass... (Don't know what that one means yet) I ran it on 25Hz and 16Hz.. and man.. that thing can pump power. My current room is not HT friendly, but once it gets moved to a concrete basement, I know I'm gonna be FEELING it so much more!

I can't believe how big this thing is.... Wow...

Well, not sure if yours is different, but my cylinder sub brought two port plugs and the instructions specifically say that you should not change the settings without plugging the right ports; better read the instructions ;)

I read thru the entire manual, and it didn't say that anywhere!!!! Hmmm... I'll triple read it... just to make sure!

I've left it on 25Hz, and since it was given to me outta the box, I'll have to check around and see if the ports are hidden someplace...

Thanks for the head's up! :D Man, I'd die if I broke it on my first day... I would just die.

The foam plugs everyone is talking about looks like a 6 or 8" hunk cut from one of those swimming pool noodles. (about 3.5" in diameter)

Your switch should be on 25hz if you have none of the ports plugged. (must be a dual sub)

If you plug 1 port, you should switch the sub to 20hz.

If you plug 2 ports, you should switch the sub to 16hz.

With the new plus drivers, you can run a sealed sub, I assume if you plug all 3 ports you would switch the sub to unfiltered, but you will have to read the manual for that one as I am not sure.

Congrats on the great present and very happy birthday. Your wifes next birthday is going to be expensive, enjoy yours while you can. :)
