polk rm6900 with r300

I bought a set of rm6900's at fry's for $399. Now I want to go to a 7.1 setup but polk is out of the rm6801 satellites until the end of May. My question is, Can I buy the r300 to use as my fronts and will they match the rest of the 6900's. Please help I am a newbie.
