Carver M-4.0t

Does anyone have any information and/or opinions on this amp? I have a chance to pick one up at what I think is a steal of a deal. What is a decent price for sale/purchase of one in pretty good shape?

Also, this guy has a Sunfire 300wpc stereo amp for what I think is a good price. Not sure what model, but an earlier one without the signature on front. No detachable power cord either. Probably similar to this one:

Thanks! Maybe I should just buy them both and sell the one or both that don't do it for me.

    The 4.0t was one of Carver's good ones. 375 WPC @ 8 ohms It will blow your skirt up. They have recently been going for 400 + on ebay, Get it if at a good price. Carver repair will probably rebuild if needed for less than 200.

    I know I'm a Carver fan as I have an M-1.0t but soon to have a second for bridging. I also have a C-1 preamp, DTL-200 CD, TX-11 tuner and a PSD-36b 10 disc changer (funny how good that thing sounds for it's age). I had Rita, who is with Sunfire now and was with Carver for years, go thru my amp and preamp and get them up to snuff. The amp needed some outputs replaced on it. But it sounds amazing now and it's good to go for many years.

    I agree, if it's a good deal, snag it! Or both!
