Do I need more midbass?

So I'm in the process of building my audio setup for my new Civic (06 SI). I'm going to keep the OEM radio for now until I can afford to get a Pioneer Nav/DVD double din unit which won't be for quite some time. So I have an AudioControl LC6 for line level control. For amps, I have 5 (will use 4 and have one backup, to good of a deal to not buy the 5th) Xtant 1.1 monoblock amps to run my front stage (refuse to have rears). And Xtant 6.1 will run a single SR12DVC in the trunk. As for front speakers, here's my thoughts. Since I have 4 monoblocks to run the front stage alone, do I take and bi-amp the SR6500's up front or do I go with SR6500 or 5200's (either, doesn't matter which as they both can be made to fit my doors) off of two amps and run the other two to a couple dedicated midbass drivers?
1. I can either cut into and make kickpods for my midbass (I know people are going to recommend putting my mids/tweets down there but my feet rest there quite often since I do a lot of Hwy driving so that's out of the question but with midbasses, I can cover them up/protect them more than a comp set)
2. Can go under the dash as I've seen/heard a couple times and think is effective,
3. can put them in the rear deck where the OEM 6.5's are and build enclosures under the rear deck to give significant umph,
4. cut and build enclosures in floorboard just in front of the seats where your feet won't hit them (I heard a car do this about 5 years back and it sounded great yet is unique),
5. basically put them anywhere else that might be an option.

What do you guys think? 6500's biamped or go 6500/5200's and get more midbass punch out of another set of speakers.

Plus, if you recommend doing seperate midbasses, what do you recommend to run with 100w/ea?

Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

The whole purpose of midbass speakers up front is to keep it up front cause anything much above 60 Hz pulls to the rear pretty bad. If youre going to stick them in the back, you might as well just use your sub for those frequencies.

Id say just stick with the 2 way setup. Unless youre competing and need the best midbass possible, a 2 way setup will work just fine and be a whole lot easier to tune.

Well I'm set on the SR's because 1. I own LSI home speakers and I want similar sound in the car and 2. I can get them at work cheap. I'm just wondering from the people who have SR's already if they're happy with the midbass or if it'd be better to run a 5.25 SR set for better midrange and then add a midbass driver for more chest punch.

Im very happy with the SR's midbass.

I ran the 6.5's all year last year and always had good midbass scores.

Im currently running the 5.25's right now because the 6.5's just wouldnt fit without major modifications but Im very happy with the midbass response from them.

I still say that a set of 6500's with an 1.1 on each driver will flat out rule!

lol sounds good. I figured having 100w per driver (in independent chassis' no less) would be enough but without hearing them in a car, I'm having to take reviews into consideration. Looks like Bi-amping will be the way to go. I will be dynamatting the **** out of my doors soon to make sure the midbass is snappy. I'm a big fan of drum thump... :D
