I'm gonna buy these soon, and I've been reading reviews on them and they are a good buy for what I can get them for. Anyway, I was reading the reviews on the site and most people seem to add the RM201s to complete their 7.1 set-up. Do you guys have any other suggestions for the other 2 surrounds?

    Since nobody responded to you yet...

    RM20 comes with 2 RM201 and 2 RM101 speakers.

    Depending how much you would like to spend you could either use 2 more RM101s or 2 RM201 for about twice as much $$. Your call.

    I take it the 201s are better than the 101s? How much more different are they? Will they blend it just right or will they outperform all the other ones?

    The RM201 has one extra 3.5" driver, which is supposed to make it a little better. The larger RMs will not overpower the rest of the system once you calibrate.

    I have this set up but using it in a 6.1 set up not 7.1.

    Center = RM202
    Mains = 2 x RM201
    Surrounds = 2 x RM101
    Rear Center = 1 x RM101
    Sub = PSW10
    Kenwood 6.1 VR-6070 running them all. :)

    It sounds really good (to me) and the rears and surround are all the same speakers. In my opinion I do not see the need for the other speakers in your set up to be 201's if you are only using 201's upfront for your mains! If you had bigger mains than I would think about using the 201's as your surrounds.
    I had the RM101's as mains but wanted a bit more out of the fronts. The 201's fill in the sound and you can tell a differance from the 101's. Nothing drastic but there is a differance. They sound fuller and not as hollow. They seem to add dept to the sound. Good luck with your choice.
