SOLD

$375 shipped in the continuous 48. I will accept money order, personal check, or paypal (no credit cards). Must have at least 25 posts and good verifiable feed back here, on Agon, or Ebay. I have feedback here, on Agon under Gaara, and on Ebay under Gaara_925.

These are in good condition, a few small blemishes...and some dynamat extreme. These have the same tweaks as posted here. That includes dampening the baskets and the enclosure itself. I also went a little crazy and dynamated the backs and the tops of these speakers as well. The reason for the backs was they were rattling against my walls, and dynamating solved it. Can't remember why I did the tops, but there was a reason. The tops have now been painted black as you can see from the pics. If these are hanging on a wall you shouldn't be able to see any of the dynamat. I couldn't on my walls.

Pictures aren't that great but the Left speaker has two less then 1/2in hairline scratches on the right side, and two small nicks on the bottom left hand side. Any other marks seen in the pictures are either finger prints, or smudges from the dynamat that have since been cleaned. No camera right now so I can't take new pics, sorry.

Used in a smoke and pet free home, I am the original and sole user of these speakers.

Please post in the thread here and then PM. Thanks for looking.

I have also covered all of my speakers in Dynamex and/or aluminum foil. . . but not due to resonance or rattling. . . . it keeps the gremlins and aliens out.

Added benefit, but didn't want to bring religious views into a audio forum...for those of us who don't believe in demons.

No arguments there, layer on the outside mdf layer on the inside, should keep them out quite nicely.

    Man,
I am not trying to step on any toes here...

But I don't understand the dynamat gig on the exterior of the speakers...

At most adhesive foam on the "feet" that lean against the wall and around the mounting bracket/power port.

Best of luck with your sale though.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Yeah realized that after the fact. Now if I have this issue I use a small piece of foam and just lean it against it.

This was one of those times where it didn't matter what it looked like as I was "done" and wouldn't ever upgrade my speakers again.

Of course if you've ever tried to get dynamat off its quite difficult to do without damaging the surface, which is why I haven't done it.
