Depends on how old they are. They could be 15 years old. I'm not sure when they discontinued that line, but, they came out in the early 2000's. They look like they're in great shape, but, asking price is not much less than a pair would cost new back then.

Too high iMO. I got a pair a couple of years ago for $500.00.

Personally, my price point would be somewhere around $300-$400. They retailed new for less than $1000 a pair. If they were bought at the end of their run they could have been purchased for considerably less. $600 is pretty stout, but they look like they're in great shape.

I want them for the passives some 3.1's need but they are too far away....

Surely a polkie in the area could pick them up for you and ship the passives. If it meant getting a pair of 3.1 working I'd let the guy keep the rest of the drivers and sell them as payment. Just saying.

    Basically.

Ideally the 3.1's need 4 of the MW6503's also because a kid tipped one of them over and all of the magnets shifted in that speaker.

I would gladly pay for the purchase and shipping to me if I could get the passives and 4 drivers. They could keep the tweeters and 4 drivers as payment for helping me.

They aren't even my speakers, I'd be buying the speakers for those parts, paying for shipping and fixing the 3.1's as karma for a very good friend who is out of work due to a surgery. He's a fellow polkie, but he doesn't own or use a computer. He just spins vinyl.

If someone could help me help him out I would be grateful. :)

LOL mine too! Paradoxically, best thing about LA, I live close to work, no traffic for me! In DC, I had 1.5hrs each way - funny how life has worked that way.
