That is a really sweet pre. I was looking it up after Tonyb made mention of it. Sounds like you made out pretty good congratulations.

The Joule pre's are top notch, but like everything in this hobby of ours, personal preferences dictate. Personally, I dig the Joule 150, but the price is obviously more. That's a decent price for a Joule pre that is probably 85-90% of what the 150 is.
Give F1NUT or Erniejade a shout, see what tubes they would recommend for you. I trust both their ears explicitly.HT SYSTEM-

That's a run don't walk price IMO... -
If these were closer, I would be all over them. He left off the pics but I think these were listed some time ago for more money and, if they are the same ones, they were in good shape. RT800i's for only $70.

This Joule Electra blows the X1 out of the water. The bass is incredible and the whole soundstage has opened up. This is one hell of a product paired with the cary 306.
Happy camper here. -
Nice and Welcome to the Joule family!
The one I have has the phono preamp and it is also fantastic sounding as well.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's. -
Thank you erniejade. I bet that phono preamp is awesome. I have done alot of reading about Jud Barber and Ken Shindo. They have quite a reputation for quality products.

Hehe.....pushed another one over the edge guys.lol
Glad your liking it Sir. For the price some of these used Joule pre's are going for these days, they make an incredible buy for those in the market for a pre.
.....and paired with your Cary 306, like you said, is just peachy. Must be we both share those older sets of ears I guess. Keep a rockin'.....HT SYSTEM-

I sent the SRT seller several e-mails without any response. I could get to his place in about an hour. His SRT would fit in perfectly with my own SRT system.
I also texted with no reply. I wish people would take their ads down if sold. -
JBL 4345's for $14,500? Surely they're not worth that.
