    It doesn't matter.

Wire requirements should be as follows:
    - oxygen free copper
    - greater than 1,000 strands for 0 awg (you want it to be easy to bend and route)
    - a decent jacket that's oil and element/weather resistant and rated for 50 volts / 300 degrees F or greater.

That being said, you can meet those requirements with just about any wire out there.

Might I reccomend Waytekwire.com -- 1.75 / foot for 0 awg, but you have to buy 100 ft. rolls of it.

If you are looking for wire in that size, you might be better off just going with welding cable. It would match or exceed everything the person before me recommended and I believe it would be a lot less expensive. I know it will work, I used it to move my battery to the trunk in a 94' Mustang. The outer coating is black rubber, oil and gas resistant, there are also over a 1000 strands inside. This stuff is made to carry high current. You should be able to get it at any welding supply and buy only as much as you want. You might save some money and hook up as many amps as you like to it.

The best wire is whatever wire you can get for the cheapest.
