Yeah, I read about this somewhere, maybe Stereophile. I wish Sony would switch over all their CD production to dual layer discs. This has been rumored for awhile.

Got Beggar's Banquet & Let it Bleed. Listened to Let it Bleed in 2-ch SACD thru headphones last nite. Sounded great, but definitely a "raw" sound. Will aim for getting many of the remastered original albums instead of the anthologies, since some of my faves (for example, Monkey Man) are not on the anthologies. It's really annoying that they don't have anything about SACD on the outside of the discs. If you didn't know about the SACD remastering, you wouldn't know what to look for. Every place I went to had 'em w/the regular discs, not the SACDs. Since they're hybrids, it's not as if anyone will buy an unplayable disc, but I wish they at least had the SACD stickers on 'em. As far as I know, they are all 2-ch, they didn't do 5.1 remasters. Doesn't matter to me, though, since I do all my music listening in 2-ch.
