Refurbished Denon?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with a refurbished Denon from dakmart.com. They've got a 2807 for $750 with a year warranty. Good deal???

Dakmart is in the authorized dealer list in the Denon website, so I would assume you should be ok.

You can get a brand new one for around the same price from other sellers on Ebay. As refurbs, DakMart's units are sometimes dinged a little. But, they do come with a warranty because Denon's distributor in the U.S. sells off their returns through the company. I've found them to be okay to deal with, but nothing special.

True, but you probably won't get a warranty from them. If it was me, I'd rather get a unit with a scratch here or there but with the warranty.

Yeah I guess thats the tradeoff, I'm thinking a warranty is the way to go...

I would buy it elsewhere. Dakmart has a very bad reputation for customer service:

Yikes, thanks for the link Will. I think I'm going to steer clear of them. Thats a nice positive feedback scam they have going there. Maybe I'll check out some of the other authorized dealers.

Trade*** something sell warranties for electronic items bought off of *bay. I picked up my Denon 4802 from *bay and picked a 2 year warranty with Trade***.
