SurroundBar Wiring
I just purchased a SurroundBar. The distance from receiver to SurroundBar is approx. 60 ft. The surround bar package includes 20ft of labeled wire. Should I splice into the wire to cover the remaining distance, or just run a completely new unspliced wire? What gauge should I use at this distance? Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for posting on the Forum. For distances less than 75' you can use either a #16 gauge wire or a #14 gauge wire. For the SurroundBar it would be best to not use the supplied wire, instead run new wire either #16 or #14 gauge for the complete length.

If you can, use one complete run of wire for each channel. This is make everything uniform and will eliminate the option of having mis/disconnects.
