Yamaha RX-1700, YPAO

Does anyone own this receiver? How do you like the YPAO setting, and does it take place of a SPL meter? Will it do a good job to calibrate the subwoofer?

    I meant the RX-V1700. Any comments on the RX-V2700 would be appreciated too.

    I've got the 2500. It uses the same mic. It dose an ok job, but I wind up tweeking it alittle.

    I have the htr5790 which is a rxv1400 and the ypao works well ,
    but I use an spl mater to tweak my system after running the ypao.
