I am looking for a projector for computer/HT use. The room that it will be in use is 20x20. I have fluorescents in the back, and know I need to run it with the lights off in the front. I was looking at 1024 x 768, and 800x600. The BenQ's come with an extra bulb quite often. Will the resolutions of such projectors work fine with component signal from a DVD player?
Thanks Ben
Thanks Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

you might want to look into getting a projector that supports the resolution of a 720p movie or upscaling 1366x768. just a thought. is a projector necessary because plenty of tvs our there are cheap now?

I like my Optoma H30 and would step up to the Optoma H72 for HD material when I'm ready. Any of the current PJ offerings will do nicely with component and many use HDMI.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

IMO, CRT projectors provide the best $/performance ratio due to the fact that the tubes last 10,000 hours. A friend of mine who has an LCD projector has already gone through 2-3 lamps, so CRT PJs are a bit more reliable (IMO).
