I can't tell you how tough it is starring at all of this HT goodness still in the boxes. But I've finely finished the hardwood flooring, painting will be done soon and the new furniture, including the entertainment center ware these components will live will be set on the 27th.

Then the fun starts. Setup and tweak, have Cox install 3 cable-cards then tweak some more. Then Tweeter will be out to program the remote. Fun fun fun.

At any rate, word on the street is I'll be needing some serious juice to run these LSi's. Problem is, I cant decide on a power amp.

My short list;
Sunfire TGA-7200 (internet sources are scary and local authorized dealers are over my budget.)
Sunfire Cinema Seven 200 (used can be scary, as well as online sources)
Outlaw 7200 (May be over kill, power suck)
Outlaw 7125 (May not be enough, love the price)
Emotiva IPS-1 (Great price, but sometimes you get what you pay for)

Suggestions please.

    Very nice. The first 3 amps you listed are good. There is NO such thing as overkill when it comes to powering LSI speakers.

    Great Stuff!!!

    I've been having to look at this for 2 1/2 months. My wife told me that before I spend one more nickel to complete these rooms with HT we have to furnish the Living Room and Bedroom first. I guess she's right.:D

    Sorry I'm not hijacking just empathizing with ya.

    Since reading the responses no one mentioned Monster Power amps. I don't have the link handy but before I purchased mine someone sent me a link where Monster amps were some of the top performing amps. Give them a listen if you get a chance. Most people on this forum don't recommend them because they don't like Monsters business practices. I 'll leave that for another topic.

    I just got a good deal on some outlaw 2200's on audiogon. You can find any amp you want used for a good price but if you use audiogon you have to be quick. 2 amps were sold before I got my e-mail to the seller. Good deals but alot of work.

    Thanks everybody.
    After some more extensive research and after reading every review that I could find on the Outlaw amps. As well as reading every post in the Outlaw Saloon on the 7125 and the 7200. I chose the 7125. I ordered it on Sunday and FedEx dropped it off this morning. I also ordered the PCA interconnects but they will take a little longer to get here as they are shipped from the east coast, Amp shipped from California.

    At any rate, I feel that the 7125 will be a good fit with my HT setup.
