Eddy does seem messed up so I hope he can get his life sorted out. Unfortunately Brad Delp could not.:(

I found another link when I did a search for those guitars and found that he admitted himself for rehab ten days ago.

Did Delp have a similar problem?

I did a search and found that Brad used Charcoal-burning. Man, that is so sad. :(

Before this thread turned into another Brad Delp thread, anyone watched the induction of Van Halen into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? The only "members" of VH to show up and accept the induction was Sammy and Michael Anthony. Ironic, isn't it? Anyway, I think both Sammy and MA made excellent speeches when accepting their place in rock....Sammy thank the Hall saying the Hall didn't have to include him for the induction of VH but did, and MA mentioned Gary Cherone in his speech. Kind of classy. Wish they had a better band to back them up on "Why Can't This Be Love".

I apologize Danny it is my fault it got off topic.

I missed the Hall of Fame induction but wished I hadn't.It is not surprising MA and SH showed some class as they seem to be character Guys. But the other three are less so.:D

I like when Sammy was answering questions at the press conference. I think someone asked him about the supposed VH reunion tour....he said VH SHOULD tour with David Lee..the fans want to see it.. and he also said he wouldn't mind touring with them, but certain members would have to grow up first...:D

    No problem GV#27 :D

You'd think that the other 3 members of VH would take time to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Basically their peers acknowledging their achievements. I am sure EVH can get out of treatment for several hours and fly to NYC to perform a couple of songs. The "reunion" could've blown the place apart with one electrifying performance.

Sammy said it best during the speech...."You couldn't keep me away from this place with a shotgun!"

Yes if Sammy and Michael (who both were pissed on by the brothers VH) still wanted to be then why weren't they?

That was an interesting video about Eddies guitar.I figure he had dozens he played but only had the two he made.

I remember the first time I heard the first VH album and being completely blown away by Eddies playing especially on Eruption, and Ain't talkin bout love.Brilliant stuff.
