Subwoofer calibration andhook up question in 2 channel

my speaker are linn keilidh which go down to 50 and the sub is martin logan abyss.i tried the hook they had for 2 channel set and set the subs crossover to 35 but i just cant seem to get the level right.is there any test tones i can use to help set the level up.i know for music the sub needs to be set lower.
