**********Sale Pending***********

For sale is my good friend dipole Dan's cherished Krell KSL preamp. Rated 8 out of 10 for age. This thing is a beauty! Two sets of balanced inputs, phono input board (MM and MC), original packing and box, manual. This preamp was used gently. No marks or scratches that I could see. The sound of this preamp is very neutral. It meticulouly reproduces the sound that your source will feed it. Exceptional Krell build quality.

The original price on this was about $3K with the optional phono board. I've been watching these on Audiogon for some time because I knew he wanted to eventually put this up for sale. The typical price for the KSL without the phono board is about $750, with phono about $900. I've seen the boards alone sell for $200. Polkie price $775 shipped CONUS. PayPal preferred, no fees!

Check out the pic's!!!

Ain't it though? No bells and whistles, lights, meters and buzzers. Knobs, four big knobs. 1 LED. There is always something to be said about a simple, straight forward peice like this - and it usually shows itself in the sound.

    Cheers,

This would probably be perfect for Trey. I know he is set on the Candela but this is a sweet piece.

Nice pre amp! Dan takes care of his gear. I've got a fine TT from him that he had for near 20 years.

I'm seriously considering getting this preamp, carl.
I just bought the sunfire preamp and i would need to sell it 1st in order to get the krell. The sunfire is a great preamp, but i need a phono preamp which my sunfire lacks. I want to start building an analog system for my carver amazings. I wanted a tube pre with balanced input/outputs and a remote but i may settle with a class a preamp with no remote instead.
