Just started getting into the vintage audio stuff and started picking up some old but good electronics and speakers. Putting all the overpriced stuff up for awhile!! Bought a pair of SDA 1Cs and after seeing all the posts here I guess I will have to upgrade the tweets/crossovers now also!! I might even need to buy some 1.2s and use the 1c's as surrounds - that sounds like an awesome HT setup!!

As early as 5th or 6th grade i was a stereo nerd and had a HiFi shop a few blocks from the house and would go listen to SAE/Polk/DCM/Vanalstine setups in their listening room. Fortunately the guys that owned the place got a kick out of Denace the Menace coming in the store everyday. Thought I would never be able to afford all that way cool stuff!! Thank god for ebay!!

Well I will apologize in advance for all my forthcoming stupid questions and guess I should purchase one of those fancy books as soon as I figure out how to order one.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Welcome to the Club Polk Forums Bullit21! There are no dumb questions here. We all were or still are newbies. We all share the same passions you do so don't worry about the type of questions. There are a lot of good friendly folk here who are anxious to help.

The 1C's are great speakers. Be warned! SDA sound is contagious! I own three sets of SDA's. There are others here that have or have owned lots more than me.

    Tell us about your electronics?

    Welcome!
    Carl
