Different models of 7B's?

Is there an actual internal difference between this model and this model of the 7B's? They both say '7B' on the serial sticker but one has the tag on the grill and the other seems to have the tag on the actual wood trim. Was there a simple cosmetic change in the series?

It's hard to tell. I have 7b's (I think?) but they look like the second ones you linked there with the logo on the speaker except mine have different tweeters. The serial number says 7b but someone crossed it out and wrote 7c.

The BIN on the second one is a decent price, but keep in mind you'll want to switch out that random speaker that was thrown in (pictured in the left). Polk offers replacements for those at a discount if you're a club member.

My bet is that they are the same speakers. Just one has logo on frame and one has logo on grill. Since they have the same drivers, everything else, I would put money on, is the same.

Looking at the serial numbers, my guess is that one (34967) was built in the very early 80's ('81-'83) while the other (52792) is probably 2-3 years younger ('84-'86).

I just noticed that. Not exactly an accurate description. They seem to be in very good condition but I think the seller either dosen't understand how to describe an item or has a very emotional bond with his speakers (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). It also seems like he's trying to make a little scratch off shipping :(

Yes they're in decent condition, but at price is at the current bid (150usd) and adding in shipping that's pretty overpriced IMO. Usually they go for around $100 / 130 in good condition.
