Bought polk amp from registered online seller and momo mm6 from an auction online. The mm6s are well reviewed and this set was produced in white, a better match for the white fiberglass flybridge on the 36' sport fisherman where they will be installed. However upon opening the box, all seemed well untill I realized the (red) speaker wire terminal nut was missing from one of the drivers.

I contacted Polk but because the seller of the mm6 was not "registered" they could not/would not help. "Why don't you try contacting the seller that you got them from?" - Polk customer service department. Regardless, I'm in need of a (red) speaker wire terminal nut for mm6 driver. Any suggestions on where to turn next? Can't wait to hook it up, drop it in the lake and let it sing!

Thanks in advance - Bill

    Uhm...

Call Polk again, take a deep breath, and order a new one.

Online selling. I hate it. Meaning some yay-hoo selling NEW stuff claiming to offer "Manufacturers" warranty. BS. If it's not purchased from an "Authorized" dealer, the end buyer should not have a warranty. Period. That's what keeps the brick and mortar places open. Why does this disgruntle me? Because I'm an A/V rep. If most cunsumers were about 2% smarter about online buying (thinking they are getting a great DEAL), then it would be a better economy. OR at least a start.

Ok...I'm stepping off the soap box now. Sorry....lol
