I need to have some SDA's shipped. The person that has them does not have packaging for shipping them. Who or how to get some company to go to the place to package the speakers and ship them from NY to Tampa,FL?????

Thanks for any help,

I had my RTA12C's shipped by freight (not Fed Ex, UPS etc.). They were placed in an upright position on a palate and connected together. They were carefully packed and they arrived in perfect condition.

    Good luck!

I'm curious, how much did that cost?

    +1 on that.
I have had many broken speakers delivered, Fed-Ex sucks at giving out insurance! Too much ulcer activity when I am waiting for speakers to reach their destination.

I REALLY don't want to tell you. Can you say OOOOUWIE!!!? I absolutely love my RTA12C's - they're mint, without any sign of wear on them whatsoever.

Ok, now the cost... I paid $202 on ebay, $175 for shipping and, drum roll please, $150 for packaging!

It was one of those small print things that I didn't notice when I bid. I would have bought them anyway. They're the best I've seen offered on the bay. They arrived perfectly and THEY SHOULD HAVE!

    But oooouwie!

Oooooouwie nothing!!! Getting them there in one piece is worth the extra dough if you can't pick them up yourself. I just shipped two different items insured of course, one FedEX and USPS with insurance and they both arrived broken up and both companies are trying to renege on the insurance, can't emphasize that enough, what a friggin racket.
