Well recently my friend gave me all of her old albums that she had laying around. I trippled my record collection but one of the artists that I dont care for is John Denver and she had quite a few albums in the box she gave me. Well I know there has to be alot of fans of his so I am going to give them all to someone here. The albums are in very good shape with some minor scratches on them. The Jackets are beat up. The albums up for karma are:

1. An evening with John Denver
2. Back Home Agian
3. Windsong
4. Farewell Andromeda
5. Aerie
6. Take me to tomorrow
7. Poems, Prayers and Promises
8. Rocky Mountain Christmas

This is open to anyone who would like these albums. The karma will last one week and end next saturday when I will draw a winner. Good Luck Everyone!

Dave

    Woohoo, I like John Denver.

In fact, it's kinda odd...I took some voice lessons from a guy at church for a while, and after our first 'session', he said I kinda sounded like John Denver.

Maybe I should cut a record.

    Ha, yeah, right.

    So, yes, I'm in.

    Thanks! Great karma!

In please. Do we have to do any photo shop mutalations of fellow Polkie's to be in this Karma?
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

    I'm ALL in...

Still strumming Country Roads on my six string, wish I had voice like John!

My very first LP as a young boy was John Denver. I played it over and over and over. After weeks, my Dad asked.. "son, how many times can you listen to Country Roads?"

I replied with a smile "One More Time!"

    Great Karma!

Hahahaha, that sounds like me! I love that song! I could listen to it all day...only I don't have a recording of it anywhere...:(

But I'm like that with any song...I'll get the chorus, or better yet, maybe only one line of a song stuck in my head, I'll sing it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again non-stop for at least ~10 minutes straight....until Mom usually goes bonkers and tells me to stop.

Pfft. I'd take his albums over his concerts any day of the week. I went to see him in concert & I was totally ticked off. I went there to hear him sing. He spent most of the 3 hours yapping about the environment, pollution, poverty, etc, etc. ad nauseum!

    SHUT UP & SING!

I'm a Country Roads fan as well. Used to hate it but it grew on me. Not much else of his really interest me so I'll leave the Karma to those who would be more interested unless it has that song on it. :)

Comon man. Even though I did receive one of the best albums in a karma I figured it was a cool karma. I know that there are fans of his out there and let them get a chance to have his albums. Will be doing the drawing shortly.

John Denver was a talented singer & song writer who died way too young Marker. He made real music with real lyrics which is a lot more than most of the so called artists do today!

WTG Fireman! It is a very cool Karma.
