After doing a few searches here and on google, I took the plunge and ordered new power cords from Signal Cable. Not sure how much I will notice the difference but they sure look good to say the least. Sucks I wont be able to see them, I may have to turn my rack around for viewing sometimes. Has anyone else experienced the Magic Power Cords?

Yup... and am pleased as punch with mine. Keep in mind they're a beast to manuever, so give 'em some room to breath.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Had a bunch of em,sold them all to someone here dirt cheap when I upgraded.
Used them on the Avr,and the subs for the SRT's and 3000p's and they tighted everything up a notch. You'll like them. They are stiff though and getting them into tight area's might be a pain.

Big buck power cords are only as good as the 89 cent receptacle there plugged into. Or the crap romex hooked up to a just enough to get by breaker.

But hey, they sure do look nice.;)

Test for yourself instead of listening to a bunch of B/S. I own a couple of them and they did make a difference. I used my wife as the tester and she did not even understand why the change. $ for $ good choice IMO.

They are bears to bend. I have a very short one on my preamp outboard power supply, I wouldn't live without it, I must say though it is a real pain in the butt to bend and keep in place. I'm sure if it was longer it would be easier to handle. I have am working on having Frank make up some custom jobs for me to hard wire to my turntable and my VPI power conditioner.

There are those who say they dont work ( upgraded power cords), you gotta wonder did they try them ? Can they hear ? What state of mind are they in ?
Why argue with so many that say it does make a difference ?

Listen for yourself its your ears it will have to impress.......

Several people tested them in a past product swap program we had here on the forum. Here are their reviews and opinions.

There will be several Anti HI-FI Audio Insurgents chiming in to say they don't matter. Thy them yourself and maybe they will make a difference for you...maybe they won't. You won't know till you try. I assure you that if you don't like them or they don't make your system better, you can unload them quickly here as they have quite a following on the forum.

I will always be indebted to Big Ted for coining this phrase. We've discussed shortening it to AHAI....but it just doen't roll off the tongue as well.

Well I plagerized big Ted's initial saying by using a variation of it in one of my threads it reads, "ANTI-VINYL INSURGENTS," thanks big Ted and you get a 12% royalty on every view of that post. LOL

I like my power cords, they make me happy. (put a mirror behind your rack you can see your cords) I have 5-6 foot magic cable Frank made and it is quite flexible. I have some PS Audio Statements one of them an older model, man that thing is 1M, 6 guage and stout, great connectors on it though. I use two statements with the BAT-VK-500 amp. I have some Shunyata Venom, their entry cord, 12 Guage, extremely flexable and great connectors.

    Anti Hi-Fi Audio Insurgents, beware.

I wish I had a detachable power cord on ANY of my gear, then I would be able to see if it made a difference or not.

Wait - I have a detachable power cord on my CRT Projector and HTPC - will power cords make a difference? Not sure about the PC but wonder if the projector would benefit?
