It's a win win to me.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

How about using a B&K ref 50 and separate amps? I do this with my SDA SRSs and 2.3s.n It sounds great.

A ref 50 can be had for about $1000 from various unnamed auctions on the web. I think that you want to get a processor that is as up to date as possible. B&K lets you upgrade as I have upgraded a ref 10 to a 50 and it works great.
Good luck, Phil -

My main concerns are 5.1 input, 2volts out, don't care about HDMI.
