Will I be happy?

In an attempt to build a 5.1 setup around my RT5s, I acquired a CS250S that was damaged in shipping. When I saw a pair of RT7s on craigslist, I started to look at options building on RT7s (always looking for an upgrade you know;)). I've listened to the RT7s for a while now, and do prefer them to the RT5s. So I went ballistic and purchased a pair of LS f/x and a CS350 from soiset, and a pair of RT16s from craigslist (in the mail). I'm now trying to sell my RT5s and considering parting with the recently acquired RT7s or keeping them for parts. I've never actually heard RT16s, just heard good things about them (and had a friend check out the ones I purchased). I'm buying this setup on a hunch that it will be much better than anything else I could get for under $1000 (well under). Does anyone else (or has anyone else) here built a 5.1 system around the RT16/CS350/LSfx, and how happy with it are you?

Well they are similar speakers. The tweeters are all the tri-lams and the drivers are similar. I think it would sound pretty good and the fact that they are pretty well timber matched (Polks, tri-lam tweeter) will make for seamless imaging. I have never heard the RT16s either, but I have the CS350 and may not ever buy another center channel.

I think you'll be very happy. See my sig for what I have. I have only turned up the volume to my setup 1/4 or so and they rock the house. I've read the 16's are one of the best speakers polk ever put out.
I guess this is the place where I list the stuff my wife wishes I didn't have....
    RT16's, RT7's, CS350-LS, Yamaha RX-V690...
