I was thinking about getting a new prepro for HT and audio. I need something that can put out 2volts clean. Has anyone used the Adcom HT prepro's?

Thanks Ben

Based on what I have read here I would pass. I like to read the consumer reviews because I have found there is less possible bias regarding a component than the audio reviewers in most mags even though I find them useful also. REGARDS SNOW

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Thanks Snow I have read those reviews, and the scary thing is most people give rave reviews of their stuff here. I have the oppertunity to pick one up for $400, so it is so tempting. I need to drive an adcom 585 with something that puts out 2 volts clear, and this maxes out at 4.6 .
    Thanks again Snow

Your welcome ben. Perhaps if its reasonable enough you can buy it, try it out and if you decide its not for you. flip it on ebay and try something new. REGARDS SNOW
