Do any of you guys have a stock Carver M200t? I am looking for some pics of the guts, specifically around the binding posts from the inside. I am trying to troubleshoot this thing, and I know it was modified by the last owner. He replaced the red power light on the front with a blue one, and god knows what else. Thanks for the help.

I'm not familiar with the M200t, but if the M500 is similar I'd be happy to open mine up for you.

I have 3 of them:), but they are a real bear to get out of the rack, just ask McLoki he has been waiting for a Rotel demo for months now but it is such a pain to unhook things. If no one else comes up with one today I will tear into it. If its urgent give me a yell and I will do it pronto.

Nothing urgent, just wanting to dig into this thing and find out what the last owner did to it. When I turn it on, it pops the protect mode for about 5 seconds, then it sends a ominous pop through my speakers, continued by normal operation. it looks like he ghetto soldered a pair of resisters on the binding posts , now that I am getting more into it. I was considering replacing these anyway.

Hey Bill, These probably won't help much, I'm sure what you want is under the circuit board but here they are. Let me know if I can take a different angle or a better close up.

that's what I've got too, but it looks like he soldered a resister on there and did a crappy job.
