Nice, I particular like that coffee table, the design is very nice. Cool leopard print pillows also. Hey by chance are you able to toe the speakers in just a little, you may notice a little better sound.

Thanks guys for all the comments. The wire is Tsunami 12awg that I picked up in our Car Audio department, It's really strong wire. Lol no I din't hit the lottery I just work @ Circuit so I find the good deals and then use my discount. Like that Monster AVS2000 Stabilizer is normally $1500 and I took it home w/discount for $465. Sherardp I toed them in a little and they do sound better.

    Just a few questions...

I am not familar with Monster components. Is one of those components an amp as well as a power conditioner?

What are you currently using as surrounds?

Finally, did you experience a difference in sound when you replaced the brass jumper on your RTi12 with a wire jumper?

Thanks in advance and congrats on the new RTi12's.

Well the big box with guages is a stabilizer and that just adds creates power when i need it and gives power back when I'm using to much. As for surrounds I am using crappy Onkyo speakers that are like A watt per cannel. Lollololol. I didn't use the jumper before so I don't know what they sounded like but thats what bi-wiring is right??? I do have a question though. I need to order my surrounds and I can't make a decision...FXi5's, RTi6's or RTi8's. What are the biggest difference between those 3 for surrounds. The room size is only 15x15 and I will just be doing a 5.1 setup.

The big difference between the FXi series and the RTi series for surrounds is that the FXi's are dipole/bipole speakers as opposed to the RTi's that are straight firing speakers. For a HT environment, I prefer the FXi series since they will give a more dispersed sound stage and thus fill the room better. Plus for 5.1 setup the FXi series will also prevent "localization" of the speaker during rear and side action scenes because of the sound dispersion. In other words when a plane pans from the front to the rear, you will not hear the plane go from the center channel to the rear left speaker. Instead you will hear it travel from the center to behind you.

When you start listening to rear speakers to select and if room and finances is a concern, you may want to serious consider the FXi3's. Your surround speakers are used to encompass you in the action as well as give you a "panning" effect for action. Because of their small workload, it is not always necessary to get a large speaker to accomplish this task. Thus the FXi3's sometimes sound as good as the FXi5's at a much lower price and size. You will have to determine that on your own. I have a 7.1 system so the choice was easy for me.

Eventually once you get your surrounds, you may want to try out an amplifier with your system. It made a huge difference in opening up my soundstage for all my speakers.

    Enjoy!

100% agreed Holydoc, I love my Fxi3s. In my 7.1 surround setup they sound great as with multichannel music. Speed the FXi3 are big speakers and they may suffice unless you feel the FXi5 is the way you want to go. Personally after I saw the 5s I was happy I went with the 3s in the end, for my application the 5s would have been too big. You be the judge, its all apart of the fun. And by the way what center chan, is that? Looks like a Cs3, and what r u running for sub?

Wow, nice setup Crd. Though I think the RTi10's are a bit of overkill for your rear speakers, you could go with the RTi line or FXi line for rears. If your rear speakers are close to your sitting position, I would advise you to go with the FXi's to prevent localization of the rear soundstage. If your rear speakers are placed far enough away from your sitting position, then the RTi or FXi would work fine.

    Keep us informed.

Nice setup Crd, I would go for the Rti for rear surround and use the fxi5 as your side surround. I have my setup this way and it sounds very good. No speaker localization or anything. Can I ask how much that amp hit you for, Im in the market for a new amp myself.

Be careful with the position of your xbox 360. It doesn't appear to have much breathing room.

Holydoc I guess I didn't explain myself correctly for the use of music would it be better to add the RTI10 so I can blow my ears off?
    what do you guys think?
or is it a waste of money to use the RTI10 for rears they will be about 4 feet behind me and the FXI5 on the sides

It's your ears & your money, so only you can decide if it's a waste.

My personal opinion is Yes it is overkill & a waste. Get another pair of FXI 5's for the back as well.
