I have to say ladies and gents that I just setup my RTi8's using biwiring and I have to say there is a difference! I was the biggest skeptic but I must admit it definately is clearer and more defined....I wouldnt have believed it until I tried it myself...

Call me crazy!

Good stuff!

    Be careful Jet,

It is a slippery slope and Bi-wiring is the Gateway Modification to the hard stuff.:D ;)

is it strange that I am now having dreams of adding pre-amps and taking my floorstanders to dinner?

Nah... it only gets strange when you start expecting "to get some" after you spring for the dinner.

    Enjoy...
    More later,

I am about to try this myself for the first time, to Bi-wire a set of RT55s.

When I do this, I thought could either "double up" the connection at the amp end, or, since my "B" speaker terminals are not is use, it would be easier to just use those.

    Would either way be better?

    I finished Bi-wiring my RT55's and CS400.

I replaced single (non-bi-wired) 16 guage wire with dual sets of 14 gauge wire.

Unfortunately, I could not hear any difference.

I'd use the B speaker Terminals because in most cases its pretty cramped back there. for that reason I also preferred Banana's.

Does anyone have any pictures of their bi-wiring? I was going to attempt this today and was reading up on it but I was not able to find a pic of what it actually looks like.
    Thx

it's extremely easy to do.. first off. unplug or turn off your amp/receiver. remove the jumpers from your speakers, run two sets of speaker wire from your receiver/amp - two wires on the red, two wires for the black.. then at the speaker end... just seperate them.. one each for the black posts, one each for the red posts. turn on receiver and enjoy.

Sounds easy enough. I actually did find a few pics scrolling through some other threads here like I probably should of done before posting the question. :o But thanks nonetheless! :)

Sounds like you're having fun. Now try a single run of 10awg.
