Yes. I don't know, speaker stands maybe. ;)

    What speakers are you using?

    Definitely speaker stands.

General rule is ear level. I personally have found that a little above ear level gives a more open effect yet slightly below ear level makes for a more coherent sound stage.

Just experiment and go with what your prefer.

I like the middle of the speaker to be ear level. I believe that's how most manufacturer's envision their position and thus their design.

Sit on some phone books first to see if you like the sound you get. If you like it, then go with speaker stands.

If you can't bring them up try tilting the front end up an inch or two.The tweeter at ear level thing is a general rule, not in stone.I enjoy sitting on the floor the best.

A couple of empty beer cases stacked up should give you the height you need. Start with PBR and if you don't like the sound try Bud or something :D

i might try some 7" stands with a 3 degree tilt, works great for the older Polk Monitors and will give you a bit of a poor mans real time alignment.

Doro has an old thread if you search on how to build some.
