It all depends on what you're after...
the Arros may not have impact, but they certainly demonstrate a wealth of tempo. Imaging is absolutely first-rate. And they have a way of making a small room seem twice its size. Closing your eyes, you might just find yourself overwhelmed by what they create.

They do have their shortcomings, but all speakers at that pricepoint inevitably do. They can't "rock out". They will fall apart in a larger listening environment and when forced to exhibit a large dynamic range. And they don't rattle the foundations. That being said, the bass is so quick and articulate that they give the illusion of slam without moving much air -- if that makes sense.

For simple acoustic or chamber music in a small room with the proper electronics, they can compete with speakers 10 times their price.

Ultimately, it all depends on what you listen to and how you want your speakers to convey that to you.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
