My wife drinks nothing but Blue Moon Pale Ale with a slice of orange. Tastes a bit too sweet for my likins.

If you like that, try Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat. It's like the aforementioned Blue Moon on steroids. It almost tastes like juice to me...
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

It's 65 degrees outside, dead at work, and my birthday. I didn't think I could be wanting to be home, drinking a beer, listening to some tunes, cranked to eleven any more than I did already.

    Until I read this.

Leiney's seems to be coming out with more seasonal brews or they are doing a lot more experimenting. The Sunset Wheat came out around Christmas and I would have to say I enjoyed many of them. This week the Apple & Spice came out. Got a 12 cooling in the fridge just waiting for me. To the Clubhouse it goes.....

My wife also has a bottle of Blue Moon with orange in it. I will have one every once in a while. It is more of a winter beer for me. I like while sitting in front of a fire.

    Strider, Happy Birthday.

    Tomorrow is my birthday.

I am home and about to warm up the tubes and drink a Miller Lite. I spent most of the week hanging and finishing drywall so I am ready.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Thanks for the birthday wishes, guys! In to the Newcastle (after hearing it mentioned in a line of "30 Days in the Hole") and Muddy Waters now.

Scott- Happy birthday to you as well! Have a Miller Lite for me.

Sona- Sorry if your thread got jacked. I did read the links, and bookmarked them. I follow your thought pattern with the wine terminology. I've found my journey of audio enlightenment is analagous to my appreciation of wine. Going into the wine section, I used to feel lost, seemed as if everything I came across had a card under it with terms that didn't make sense. Never heard "currants" and "mossy" referred to as much, especially in a good light. Finally found a good guide to wine, read it, took it to the store, and now the terms make more sense. I'm now a better drinker:D

Links like the ones you posted are what help me to understand all the phrases thrown about in this consuming hobby!

You forgot "bouquet", as in: "My Bose Acoustimass speaker system has an unpleasant bouquet".

Another interesting connection between speakers and wine is that generally for any given speaker system and any given wine, the more wine consumed, the better that speaker system sounds.

A tip for wine glass selection: drink right out of the bottle. Saves a step and simplifies cleanup.
