Source for 10 gauge stranded - Baltimore?

I'm stumped, other than buying 500 feet of it from Grainger, (I need about 20 ft). Thanks!

    You should be able to buy it by the foot at loews/lowes. If you're feeling adventurous, buy some solid core single strand also and see if you like the difference.

    blue jeans cable will sell you 20 feet of it. (of course it is not local)

    I have plenty of solid core 10 on hand, it is a PITA to work with. Lowe's does not stock 10 gauge stranded, but can be special ordered.

    The Lowes I go to has 10 ga stranded on reels that I cut to length. They are single runs so I need 2 runs of course for positive and negative.

    Isn't that something! I went to the two around me (cockeysville and towson) and they both have signs at the wire machine that says 10 gauge stranded is not stocked at this location.

    Hmmmmm...If there's a West Marine boating store nearby, they probably have it, and may even have heavier wire. Most likely single wire, and probably pricier then Lowe's/Home Depot as it's marine grade.

    Dude buy from www.Knuconcepts.com there wire is da BOMB I got two pair from them to bi-amp my 1.2's .Visually appealling and performance to boot and the price is nice and doesnt hurt the wallet. I allready had monster cable 10 gauge abut it was years old. So that why I tried it you wont be sorry

    The closest West Marine to Towson is on Route 7 just outside of the beltway on the right next to a CC. There is also another Home Depot in the area.

    I was looking for (and neglected to state it properly) 10/2 stranded and could not find it stocked anywhere.

    I did wind up buying 10 gauge stranded single at Home Depot, but have not yet installed it. I'm still trying to make up my mind on whether or not I can hear any difference in the 10/2 solid core that I have installed.

    As much as I don't want to notice a difference, I actually think there IS a difference. I believe it decreased the brightness, yet my brain isn't yet willing to accede to the fact that cabling can make a difference.

    Nor have I decided if I like it better. The problem is these Strata Minis are so incredible that I think they'd make a **** sound good.

    BTW, if Saturday afternoon works for you, you're welcome to come by for a listen. Any other (well known) Polkies close by want to join in let me know. I'm kind of paranoid about who I invite into my house. Nothing personal, well, yeah I guess maybe it is! (sorry)

    Baynesville Electronics should have it. I bought some 10 gauge x2 stranged from there a while ago- they carry Sound King. I dont know if they still have it, give them a call:
