best offer, about to list them on ebay, would rather sell here.

Very nice sounding bookshelf (pair) with smooth sound. very musical. very good to excellent condition (knick on corner of one speaker), perfect working order. matches most of the original RT line perfectly (RT3, RT8, RT10, RT12, RT f/x (earlier version), CS250) and will work very well with other RT series as well (e.g. RTixx, RTxxi).. shipping at cost from 94025.

Dougr, Russ means pictures of YOUR speakers. They are old, and it would be better to see what someone might really be buying.

    No... a bit of assistance:rolleyes:
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

really tough to tell without the facial expressions & voice cues! the post to include pictures of MY speakers was well after I had posted pictures... so I assumed a bit of sarcasm. oh well, still available anyway.

    Damn fine speaks...good price.

The original RT series was the high water mark, IMO, for the RT series in all its forms.

My apologies Doug. I first saw this thread at work & our system kindly removed YOUR pictures & all I saw was the link to Polk's site picture.

Nice looking speakers, good luck with the sale.

still thinking about the offer... parcel post on these will run $35 to KC... the RT7 would be a better match than the RT5 for the CS350... if the RT5 were used for a surround, it would work just fine. I think (without knowing for sure) that they will sound fine as fronts with the CS350, but it IS a different tweeter and was timbre-matched by the CS250, not the 350.
    Cheers,
    -Doug
