Demiurge gave me the same advice when I took up the hobby about a year ago. I'm like 'what  ... all you need is a guitar and an amp!'
I've already been through about 12 guitars and a few amps and now own 2 Strats and a Les Paul, a Marshall half-stack, wah-wah pedal, Line 6 POD, headphones, straps, cables, books, videos, stands. I've even sold off some of my audio equipment and audio has definitely taken a back seat.

I have always used other's gear. I would just show up with my guitar and small amp and use their gear. Now its time for me to get some upgrades of my own.

I have a 1974 Gibson Blue Ridge accoustic guitar. I would never part with that one. I cant find another one like it, w/out spending 2 grand.

I just got the DigiTech PR250 in last night. Thats an awsome little processor. Plenty of effects and perfect for my use. I would recomend that for anyone who is interested in a processor for under $200. Thanks for the recomendations all..:D ;)

With the USB port hook to the PR250 and running Digitechs EZ edit2, am I supposed to hear the guitar through my PC speakers? Cause I dont. If I plug my headphones directly into the 250 I can hear the guitar, but not through my PC speakers. I emailed Digitech, but I thought one of you guys might know whats wrong.
