I present....the Denkardon Whole Wheat Vacuum Tube Amplifier.

Brand new Denkardon Whole wheat Vacuum tube amp. This amp has never been used , and has been the main source of music at many of our parties. 3 horsepower 2 cycle triode push pull. We have had it pushing some Wilson grand Slamms, and recommend a power conditioner. I would be willing to pass along my magic brick, and audio note
anspz interconnects. I am selling one item at a time and after this goes the audio note m8 phono preamp will follow preceding the tt3 ref. Aesthetics are valuable to me but were not my main concern with this unit. This unit has been housed in a friendly section 8 unit in SE dc since the riots.

The guy is a local CL hunter and bored one night since he was tired of the endless BS that's listed on there every second. I emailed him from the ad as it was just funny and he turned out to be a real grounded dude and a fellow audionut heavily into vintage Altec, Electrovoice, Tannoy, etc. You just never know.....
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    LOL

Shredded wheat might knock your socks off as its soundstage is multi-layered and complex.

I wouldn't go that far in regards to DC as its no different than any other city. There's a moron born every second and alot of them end up living next door to you.

Audiogon amazes me more than CL with respect to resale values and the like.

I have the strange feeling your from this area.

This should satisfy your bass-ic audio diet. Does it have unbalanced RDA connectors..

Don't you think it might be a little dry on the top end? Brittle or stale, if you will?

After 30 minutes of playing, the bottom end was a bit "mushy", but the top end still had the crackling sound.

I gotta say that's a very bold and contraversial design. I would say the base would be much more resistant to vibration if it were still filled with some sort of organic wheat type product, perhaps in the shape of small bit-sized squares. This young designer is certainly thinking outside the box.
"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul!

That's an interesting design...but ehh...I'm more partial to the Honey Bunches O' Oats'ifier myself. It's the only amplifier that provides those nice solid clusters of bass, mixed with the nice juicy, milky mid-range, and crispyetty crunchetty sounding highs.
