WTB: CS350, RT or LS f/x with trilams

looking to build around RT7 fronts for a 5.1 setup... need the CS350 and a pair of either the RT f/x (with the trilams) or the LS f/x.

    Are you going to use the CS350 with a CRT television? If not, I have something for you.

    yup... 206 lbs of CRT. I sent you an email inquiring about some f/x speakers you had a while back... still got those???

    Sounds like my CRT. I have a Sony KD XBR-960, with a cs350 above and below. I have another cs350 in the closet that ain't too pretty, but it's got all the guts I need to replace any driver in my nice pair and retain magnetic shielding. I have three pair of LS f/x left, except for one pair that only has the crossovers left. I've been keeping them for parts, mostly the tri-lams.

    I have 5 pairs of the LS50's and the two cs350's, and I have seen how hard it is to find those tri-lams, so I am playing little piggy. When I make the move to the real theater room with a projector, I'll likely sell a complete 350 with real live shielded drivers, and use the unshielded drivers from my LS f/x, but until then...

    I need to go modify that ad, I think...

    i saw a single Sl6501 on ebay that looked like a 5501 with a 6501 sticker thrown on the back (black dome, no trilam text on front)... i inquired and the listing was gone within 15 minutes with no response. kind of hard to find those 6501s. My TV is a 4:3 JVC 36" HDTV... biggest I could fit into the armoire (to get the required SAF for the purchase ;)

    ... been keeping my eye on that. I'll be bidding, but wow have these been pricey lately (~$220 + shipping earlier this month on ebay... ouch.).

    Yeah, and a pair of LS f/x just went for $175. Well, I was lying awake in bed just now, and figured I'm willing to take a little risk on the magnetic shielding, so I tell you what I'll do: One CS350 (with original drivers) and one pair of LS f/x for $300 plus shipping. The 350 is not the prettiest example, but it looks fine from the front. I can send you pics of everything.
