I will be taking delivery of 2 FXi5s as my surround speakers in the next few days and do not plan to mount them on the wall (no way to hide speaker wires). I will therefore be mounting them. Given the 12.5" wiidth of the speakers, can anybody please suggest good speaker stands with wide enough base to hold these babies ?

So you do not plan on mounting them, and instead you are going to mount them?

Seriously, I think you meant that you are planning on putting them on stands instead. You might try posting this in the Basic Hook-up section as this is just a place to test out your signatures, pictures, or just goof off in general.

Yes, I plan to place them on stands instead - won't do me any good "mounting" them I guess.

I always feel rear and side channels should be mounted higher than most of the good stands availible. I have seen this guy put some sweet pillers up and used those. He got them from a contemporary furniture store.
