Wall mounting Brackets for Polk R15?

I need a pair of brackets to adjust vertical angle of my R15's. They are currently mounted behind my couch, but almost right above it, so definitely would like to adjust the angle :(.

I am looking for suggestions for the brackets that will fit. These speakers only have a keyhole in the back. Ideally, I would like to use just that keyhole, but if it's not enough, I don't mind drilling a couple more holes to mount the speakers safely.

Also, if you have any for sale, PM me! (please include shipping to Houston, TX in your price :)).

    What is better:

    1). Omnimount 10.0 (rear-mounted through keyhole).

2). BTech BT77 (grip speakers on the side???). Personally, I'd be scared to just "hang" my speakers like this, but need some opinions here...

    Thanks!

I have 1 BTech BT77 that I'm not using that I could give you a REALLY good deal on... but I'm using the other. I wouldn't recommend gripping it on the side though. I'm actually using an omnimount 20.0 on the rear right that works pretty well with my RTi28.

I am not sure that 7 degrees will be enough to tilt my speakers (max. angle for BT77), but I'll double-check.

Did you mount your RTi28 using single keyhole design?

R15 weighs measly 8 lbs vs. 14 lbs of RTi28, so I may be able to get away with Omnimount 10.0...

Either is a decent mount, just depends on your application and the weight of the speaker....as you mentioned. I like the BT77 for heavy speakers but the R15 is not in that category.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I have a little trouble with the Omnimount in keeping the speaker at the correct angle. The ball joint slips a little. You can't use the keyhole, though. You have to drill into the speaker.

Hmm... according to Soiset, there is a keyhole adapter in 10.0 kit... maybe that's because 10.0 only support up to 10 lbs.

Aha... Ok. I talked to somebody at Polk cust service and he said to definately not use the keyhole for the Rti28's because it would break. We're talking about almost doulbe the weight, though.

Hopefully, someone from Polk will reply to this thread, or someone who already mounted R15s...

Update update... Getting Omnimount 10.0 brackets from Soiset! Will install them at the end of the month, and see how they perform.

Right now, we can barely hear R15s because they are so close to the couch (and I did increase output level for them on my receiver :( ).
