So after reading through a bunch of posts here, I'm thinkin I'm a big **** for liking my system that I pulled out of a box and just plugged in and played stuff on. Well I take that back........maybe I'm just amazed at all the stuff that there is to consider that's stuff that I've NEVER though of let alone know absolutely NOTHING about. I'm tryin to get there......eventually.
I have RT16's as my fronts, but originally I had the lil tyke 12's and exchanged them for the 16's. Consequently, the day that my twin RT16 baby boys came home the neighbors started the bitchin chain that never did end. Who cares.......EFFFF him! :-)
I was out trying to find the LSi speakers to listen to and I ran across the RT3000ps on clearance for $1500 for the pair. I have to sleep on this.....LOVED the way that they sounded, and they are quite a step up from my 16's, but I dunno if I should. Maybe y'all could lemme know if the $1500 is a good deal or not. True, they're half of what they normally were, but even at this point, should/could they be less? I was scanning posts and saw that people had gotten them for $1000/pr which completely amazes me. If that's the case, I'm jealous.....same for those that got their hands on one of those PSW1200's. Would like to hear one of those beasts.
Anyway, I have to sleep...........but one last thing.........are any of y'all in Arizona (Phoenix specifically)? I'm curious if there's people willing/able to help or talk out some stuff where I'm at.
Until next time....................

my opinion is that you can make this hobby as simple or as complicated as you wish. The important thing is as long as it sounds good to you and you are happy what everyone else thinks is trivial. One of the cool things about the forum is it is a GREAT place to get your learn on.
Having said that, 1500 for a pair of 3000's does sound like a pretty good deal. Also, the RT16's, IMO, are no slouch either, I would LOVE to have a pair of those.
