I found this quite amusing. Mainly because I know a couple of people that fit this description to a T, and honestly I can apply some of it to myself.

Anyway...Enjoy!

    Umm.....
    I think I've been pegged.

    Demi too.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Some of the folks described there you can almost see them listening to their music through Sony boomboxes.

Oh, believe me, there's plenty of crap on this side of the fence as well, you just don't hear it 30 times a day so it's more tolerable. :p

Man I feel kind of bad for the guy.

    I mean really.

Hes just...getting owned everywhere he went/goes.

    What a loser.

    Back on subject.

I dunno. I love calling things and other people pretentious, but I'm not sure I can place that label on music. Maybe I'm not snobby enough.
