speaker dropout on RTA-15tl Help!!

I have had these RTA-15tl's for about 6 months. A couple of days ago I started getting a static sound periodically then it would go away for a few minutes and then come back. Today, the whole speaker goes dead for a few minutes and then come back on for a minute or so. I hooked up an extra RTA-11t I had and have not experienced any static or drop out. Sounds like a loose connection. Where should I look first? PLEASE HELP. I love these speakers. Thanks, Jeff
