Local Frys ad today has the CSi25 center channel on sale for $79.99. Price is good through 2/27

    Yup just saw this ad in the LA Times myself. Gonna grab one and put it somewhere safe until the R50s go on sale for around $50-60 again. I have this feeling that the R50s will never return because outpost.com stopped listing them and my local Fry's sold the last 2 a week ago. Hopefully this is not the case because I would love to get a surround set for less than $300 consisting of 4x R50s and this CSi25.

    I didn't know that Fry's carried the R50's anymore. Which Frys are you going to? Burbank seems to always have items in stock that other stores don't. Woodland Hills seems to always be out of everything. A year ago, I bought a pair of R30's for $80/pair. They did have a sale a couple of weeks ago on the R300's for $50 a piece.

    My local Fry's is in city of industry, I think, it's off the 60 freeway and into crossroad parkways. I'll have to stay alert for the R50 deals from the other Fry's when they become available, I'm kind of depressed about my whole speaker ordeal. A month ago the R50s were available for around $60s each but I was still uncertain whether or not to get floorstanding or bookshelves, so i didn't pull the trigger. And now the CSi25 is on sale and makes for a great center for the R50s...... but alas, the R50s are teasing me by playing the elusive game.:( :(:(

    I know what you are going through. Have you tried ebay? Also, there is a store in downtown LA that claims to have the lowest prices on Polk anywhere. Here is a link to their ad on ebay. I emailed the guy who gave me his number to discuss, but I haven't had a chance to call him.

    I have been going to my local frys for the last 5 weeks to try and get a deal on the polk csi25 and lost patients. So last week I jumped on the Crutchfield deal on the infinity c25 center speaker for 99.99 dollars. Today I look at the frys ad for so cal and there it is "csi25" for 79.99 dollars:(

    My question is now what is the beter speaker? both were basical the same price. I havent received the infinity c25. it will be here on Monday.
    Any thoughts out there?
    Also Frys last week in San Diego had the r15's for 49.98, almost picked up a pair for my office.

    My set up is:
    Fronts r50's
    Surrounds r15's or infinty primus 150's. I have both but infinities sounds a little crisper.
