Well I made the journey to PA today to pick up the 1.2's. The cabinets are a dark oak? Much darker than my 2.3's. They are in perfect condition, not a scratch or chip on them. Grills are in nice shape and the drivers and passive look brand new. He had the manual and wall brackets. I have to hook them up and swap out the 4 bad tweeters. He wasn't sure which one they were since he hasn't used them for awhile.

They look great. Now all you need is a set of 3.1tl's for a full set:D

Congrats Warlocks! Enjoy your 1.2TL's. I was tempted as they were only about 3 hours from me, but I enjoy my 2.3's just fine. They would be an overkill for me.

    Congrats and good luck!

I am not much of a wood aficionado (sp??), walnut might be right. How many different woods did they offer?

Two-oak/walnut...yours "look" like an early version when Polk was using solid wood caps.

Later they changed to a veneer over mdf cap.

The side strips are a veneered 1/4" plywood.

The caps and the sides are an easy change if you prefer a different type wood...If I had kept my SRS 2's I was going to change them over to Oak.
