I use #12 clear insulated speaker wire 15c a foot and it looks and works great ,but anything ove 25c per foot is way too much for speaker wire.
As for my interconnects I like monoprice premium cables $4.00 each.

I've read so many cable forums but never participated...so here goes..

Home Depot 12 gauge, Blue Jean cable banana plugs

I am impressed by anyone that could splice a wire inmid run. I'm to anal to do that, but I agree that if you do a decent jobs the electrons will not know.

I don't know about that. Wouldn't you be creating a small resistor there at least on a molecular level??? It could change the flow and the sound.

You are correct though I am too obsessive also to do such a thing.

This is one of the funniest things I have heard in a while... "small resistor on molecular level that will change the flow and the sound"... Sorry, couldn't hold it... I'll go share it with my colleagues (NASA).
