the mirror in my rear view(center mounted on the windshield) rattles like a bia. whats the trick to stoping it? I'm almost positive its the mirror part ratling on the frame because if I pinch the mirror/frame it stops almost completely but it still gets blurry.

I am having this same issue when I crank up my system. Was not an issue before I had my current sub, & 1100 watts RMS going to it..... I am going to try to take it apart and put some sound deadener and rattle pad in there.

Im not sure I can take mine apart. it looks like it was molded into the plastic. I only have 300 RMS in my little dakota and it makes that mirror vibrate so much all I can sea is a blur. a LOUD blurr too

exalted512 this wigger kid at my school put two alpines in his mazda 626 and when he got a new windsheild the mirror fell off and he told his dad the mirror was riped of by a vandal.

he first thing it thought was sound deadening material but that posed a problem in my head casue if put it on the back of the entire thing it would A be visible and B would produce a shiny servace for other drivers to get distracted. I dont think theres a way for me to remove jsut the glass from the module or else id do it that way. theres a lip around the mirror so i cant use the rubberband method.

rubberbands however do stop rattle in manual door handles all you have to do is put them around the base of the shaft where the loose knob meets.

    What does this mean?

It refers to those white kids who try to hard to act like they're black, solely for the sake of acting black...

I can understand a white kid who grew up in a black neighborhood acting like that cause that's how he grew up... but I've seen kids dressing and acting like they're black in small Podunk towns that probably only have 5 black people living there... it's kinda sad really, people need to learn to be comfortable with who they are...

I'm pretty damn white myself, but I've got a number of good black friends (couple of them have history with gangs at that) but I still act like myself around them and they respect me for it. They've even taken me out to some of the clubs in town, places they've told me i might not want to come to by myself, cause apparently EVERY black person I know thinks I look like a cop... seriously, I've been told that by at least a dozen of my black friends, it's kinda funny really :p

meh. that term brings back a lot of memories from highschool. *sigh*. the whole school had like 10 black people... actually, not even black. it had 10 people that weren't Caucasian, yet the entire shop class would fall under the category of "wigger".

on another note, my garage opener kept rattling, it was a really high-pitched annoying rattle. Nothing a little glue couldn't fix.

Hiding behind corners and under large rocks....

Car audio just does not have my fancy any more... Especially after the Hoe got messed with. Too old and doing it too long to care any more.
