I have the FXi5's and I just used the template that comes with the speakers to mark my holes in the drywall and installed inserts for the screws. I tried to get one of the screws into a stud. They haven't moved yet and they have been up for 8 months!!

I agree, a screw or rated drywall anchor works fine.

I agree with the above, but if that doesn't work, there's always Mount Hood. :p

I mounted my FXi5's into studs w/o any issues. The included template works well.

Well these are going to have to go into the ceiling, and its a slanted ceiling making them face right at me which is sweet if I could just get a bracket like the VANTAGE POINT BKSP, then it would be perfect. But are these mounts compatible with the keyholes or do you have to screw into them, because I'm not about to screw into my brand new speakers. I cannot find a forum, review, seller, or any other website that elaborates on this situation I'm having on trying to find the right mount. Will the BKSP work? Thanks for all your replies.

I don't recall a bracket for that application that didn't require holes to be drilled. Is it angled so much that the dual keyhole bracket(2 Screws) won't keep it on the wall? Where do live, in a cave?
