timbre matching between main and center
I`m new to Club Polk and I have a question that maybe very basic.
I have a Yamaha receiver and am using Polk Monitor 30`s for front and rears. and monitor cs1 for the center. I am thinking of upgrading the center to a cs2. Would this be a waste of time and money. Would the cs2 be a better timbre match for the 30`s than the cs1 that I presently have?

Welcome to Club Polk!
Switching driver size, as long as you're within the same line, won't ruin your timbrematching to a noticeable extent.
That being said, I don't believe it's a worthwhile switch. Are you disappointed in the CS1? -
